The new La Crema Estate property at the storied Saralee’s Vineyard is a premier destination for wine education and culinary explorations in the heart of the Russian River Valley.
From exclusive tastings including wine and food pairings, to private golf cart tours of the vineyard, La Crema provides an authentic exploration in cool-climate wines. Don't miss a tour of the picturesque grounds at Saralee’s Vineyard, whether in nature or in one of the private tasting areas in the barn.Explore
Siduri Wine Bar & Tasting Lounge
Siduri's new tasting room in downtown Healdsburg is a wonderful setting to enjoy a unique offering of Pinot Noir that spans the entire west coast. Sourcing only the best fruit from Willamette Valley in Oregon, Sonoma County in Northern California, and all the way down to the Sta. Rita Hills outside of Santa Barbara, we think it's safe to say there is no better way to explore what makes Pinot Noir one of the best varietals.
Personally curated wine flights, wine by the glass, and locally sourced bites make for the perfect tasting experience. They even have a brand new draft system, pouring local micro-brews (for the wine averse) and special wines straight from the cellar.Explore
Located just west of Windsor and Santa Rosa, the drive to Moshin takes you through the rolling hills and waterways of the iconic Russian River Valley. Known for their incredible, small-lot Pinot Noirs, Moshin's wines are some of the best expressions of the Russian River Valley AVA that you can find.
While the tasting room is open to the public, we recommend you call ahead to schedule a tour and tasting. We loved learning all about 4-tier gravity flow production, sustainable farming practices, and their unique winemaking philosophy that stays true to the vintage and vine.Explore
Red Car Wine Co
Interested in exploring the wines of the Sonoma Coast, but can't make the trip out there? Red Car's tasting room is located just north of Sebastopol on the 116 and serves Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah, all grown on their estate vineyards among the fog of the Pacific coast.
Bring your friends, play your favorite vinyl, and check out local jewelry and eclectic home décor items while you sip and explore their cool climate wines at their fun, modern tasting lounge. Seated tastings are available for those who want to have a more intimate experience.Explore
Matanzas Creek Winery
Matanzas Creek is located in the remote, but breathtakingly beautiful Bennett Valley region of eastern Sonoma County. Since its launch in 1977, the winery has built its reputation on Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot – two varieties that thrive in Sonoma’s temperate climate. They also produce limited quantities of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Bordeaux-style reds, all sourced from sustainably-farmed, estate vineyards scattered throughout the mild interior and cool coastal AVAs of the county.
In addition to its wines, Matanzas Creek is also famous for their spectacular lavender gardens. Grab a glass to enjoy the view from the patio or bring a picnic and rest under the oak trees among the lavender gardens.Explore
Schug Carneros Estate Winery
Schug Carneros Estate Winery combines old world understanding and tradition with modern winemaking techniques. By using only the finest grapes available, and maintaining the best winemaking values, these wines have gained acceptance worldwide as true contemporary classics.
We love that they allow you to take no appointment, self-guided winery vineyard tours. Just stop in the tasting room to pick up a detailed walking-tour guide and points of interest will be clearly marked along the route. While these tours are excellent during summer and harvest, they are available year-round.Explore
