Our 24 rows of Cabernet Sauvignon (Clone 8) and 20 rows of Merlot (Clone 3) were planted in a 3x10 foot configuration in 2008. It is sustainably farmed at 4- 4.5 tons per acre, and our small size allows us to irrigate precisely, control yields, and harvest at the moment of perfection.
While much of our harvest has been purchased by large wine companies in the past, we have produced several small (five barrel) vintages of Merlot, Cabernet, and a blend for several years and have been thrilled by the quality of the fruit.
