Howell Mountain Vineyards hand crafts its wines from its estate vineyard, the Beatty Ranch. Utilizing all varietals grown on the property (Zinfandel, Primitivo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Vedot) with our main two wines being our Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. The source of the Zinfandel comes from vines that were planted at the turn of the 20th century, while the Cabernet Sauvignon vines are over 40 years old. Both the Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon vines are some of the oldest of their kind on the mountain producing exceptional old vine Howell Mountain wines.
