WINEMAKER, REID KINNETT
Reid found his love for wine during his first career as a server and bartender in Southern California. His fascination with both the hedonistic and academic nature of wine led him to San Luis Obispo, where he earned a degree in Wine and Viticulture from Cal Poly. Since, he has completed harvests in Argentina at Viña Cobos, as well as Flowers and Marcassin here in Sonoma County. At Karah, Reid now oversees the cellar and farming operations for our 35-acre estate. He aims to make low-intervention, polished, and delicious wines that showcase the climate and terrain of this extraordinary site.
