Beringer is known for establishing many 'firsts' as leaders in the wine industry. They were one of the first gravity fed facilities and among the first to operate using hand-dug caves and cellars. They were also the first to give public tours in 1934, starting a Napa Valley hospitality tradition. Additionally, they are the first and only winery to have both a red and a white wine named #1 Wine of the Year by Wine Spectator Magazine.

RYAN RECH - CHIEF WINEMAKER & GENERAL MANAGER
“Never ask a wine to masquerade as something it’s not,” believes Ryan Rech, who as Chief Winemaker and General Manager at Beringer has access to some of Napa Valley’s finest vineyards. “It’s the vineyard where important work is done, and my job is to showcase the exceptional fruit I’m fortunate enough to receive.”
