Vineyard Select Pinot Noir 2016
These Pinot Noir vines are grown in both alluvial and volcanic well-drained soils at 600 feet above sea level on the eastern fringes of the Russian River Valley. This site is heavily influenced by both the cooling onshore winds from the Pacific Ocean and the early morning fog pattern-driven from the south to the Petaluma Gap. Each and every vine is individually managed with the mind to grow the wine in the vineyard; careful control of cropping and meticulous canopy management allows us to fully express this delicate varietal with both site and vintage in mind.
