Wren Hop "Code Red" 2021
Strap yourself to a gurney and prepare for 750ml’s of heart pounding red fruit resuscitation. Inky black raspberry, Santa Rosa plum, hibiscus tea and clove oil jump from the glass on this Sonoma Coast do-gooder. The attending Gamba barrels make their presence known with toasted vanilla and dried fruit notes. This wine is alive with vibrant acidity, mulled spiced cranberry and an elaborate sustained finish. Make sure you nurse this bottle, this is a limited release.
