Catie’s Corner Viognier delivers tropical fruit tones on very warm years, but leans more toward mineral nuances in cool years. The 2016 vintage offers the best of both worlds, showing pretty floral notes, juicy fruits, hints of baking spice, and crisp mineral qualities. An alluring fragrance of lemon, pineapple, wet stones, and honeysuckle gives way to succulent flavors of peach, tangerine, and guava. Beautifully balanced by vibrant natural acidity, elegant mineral character evolves on a grand, lengthy finish.
