Estate Zinfandel ~ 1924 2017
We are blessed with some of the oldest Zinfandel vines in Sonoma Valley with some dating back to 1882. Henry and Vittorio, along with our winemaker, Tom Foster, decided early on that we would make three different Zinfandels dedicated to the birth year of each of our vines. The 1924 lends itself to brighter red fruit, baking spice and a black pepper finish. Medium in body with balanced tannins, this is a BBQ lover’s perfect red. Paired with the smokiness of ribs, pulled pork, or sausage, this Zinfandel will not disappoint.
