Estate Zinfandel ~ 1912 2017
We are blessed with some of the oldest Zinfandel vines in Sonoma Valley with some dating back to 1882. Henry and Vittorio, along with our winemaker, Tom Foster, decided early on that we would make three different Zinfandels dedicated to each vine’s birth year. The 1912 has a unique earthiness with just a touch of jam followed by subtle spice on the finish. Like our other Zins, it is medium in body with balanced tannin and is the perfect wine for enjoying with or without food. Pair with a cool fall evening or a hamburger off the grill; the 1912 will leave you wanting more
